2. Free directory scope
Reactive Dog Stays provides a free research directory of selected private boarding and in-home overnight sitting providers in the United States and Canada. The directory helps users compare narrow, sourced information that may be relevant to reactive, anxious, fearful or selective dogs.
Access to the directory is free. This release does not provide a public submission mechanism, user account or operator commercial service.
3. No booking, care, agency, account or commercial-service relationship
Reactive Dog Stays is not a veterinary service, behaviour professional, trainer, boarding facility, sitter, marketplace, booking agent, insurer or emergency service. It does not arrange stays, accept a booking for a provider, take payment for a provider's care or become a party to an agreement between an owner and a provider.
Any enquiry, assessment, booking, payment, care agreement, care decision or dispute is solely between the owner and the provider. Using the directory does not create an agency, care, advisory, account or commercial-service relationship with Reactive Dog Stays.
4. Safety, suitability and owner responsibility
A listing, search result, filter match or Verified status is not a recommendation, certification, endorsement or guarantee of safety, suitability, availability, licensing, insurance or outcome.
Before making an arrangement, owners must contact the provider and check current care conditions, staff and facilities, supervision, separation practices, transport, emergency procedures, prices and contract terms. Owners must give the provider complete and accurate information about relevant behaviour, triggers, handling and medication needs, bite history, escape risk and emergency planning.
If a person or animal may be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency or veterinary service.
5. Evidence, Unknown and Verified
Safety-relevant details appear only when stated on the provider's own website with a check date or confirmed by the provider by email with a confirmation date. Information that is not supported remains Unknown and is not inferred. Policies, staff, facilities, capacity and availability can change, so users must obtain current written confirmation directly from the provider before relying on a detail.
Verified means that the provider answered the email questionnaire and a person reviewed the supplied evidence. It is a narrow, time-limited evidence status. It does not guarantee care quality, safety, availability or suitability for a particular dog.
6. Accuracy, corrections and removals by email
Directory information may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. A provider, authorised representative or other person with relevant evidence can request a correction, claim review or removal by emailing hello@reactivedogstays.com. Include the provider name or public profile address, the requested change and the supporting provider-owned source or authority.
Reactive Dog Stays may request proportionate evidence before changing a safety-relevant detail. It may hide a credible safety, accuracy, rights or privacy risk while it is reviewed. Correction, claim and removal requests are free.
7. Acceptable use
You may use the site for lawful personal research or internal business research. You must not interfere with the site, bypass access or security controls, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate another person or business, submit false or misleading information, introduce malicious material, harvest personal data, use the directory for unsolicited outreach, access restricted or account-only sources through the site, or reproduce a substantial part of the directory without written permission.
You must not use directory information to make unsupported statements about a provider or to represent an Unknown detail as confirmed.
8. Intellectual property
The site design, original text, selection and arrangement of directory material, software and Reactive Dog Stays branding belong to the operator or its licensors. Provider names, logos, trade marks, photographs and other third-party material remain the property of their respective owners.
Access to the site grants no ownership right. Linking to a public page or quoting a limited part of it does not permit copying, republishing or extracting a substantial part of the directory.
9. Third-party provider sites
The directory links to provider websites and may refer to other third-party sources. Reactive Dog Stays does not control their services, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices or terms.
Leaving the directory and dealing with a provider or another third party is at the user's discretion. Users must review the third party's current information and terms directly.
10. Availability and changes
Reactive Dog Stays may correct, update, suspend, hide or remove directory content or site features where reasonably necessary for accuracy, safety, rights, security or operation. No uninterrupted or error-free availability is promised.
These Terms may be updated when the directory or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the version that applies. A materially different feature requires a feature-matched review before it is made available.
11. Non-excludable rights and liability boundaries
The site and directory content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Reactive Dog Stays does not promise completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability or any care outcome.
Reactive Dog Stays is not responsible for a provider's acts, omissions, staff, facilities, statements, services, injuries, losses or disputes, or for a decision made without the direct checks required by these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Portuguese law and mandatory protections
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of Santarém, Portugal have jurisdiction where the law permits.
Mandatory consumer protections, choice-of-law rules and rights to use a competent court or authority remain unaffected. If a mandatory rule conflicts with these Terms, the mandatory rule prevails.
